I was pretty nervous when I first read that there were horns on Built to Spill’s newest record, but this song (in particular 2:57 to 3:46) proves just how versatile this band really is. Brian Wilson-esc harmonies and horn blasts paired with the same face-melting guitar solos and mind captivating lyrics that I’ve come to know and love, man this stuff really gets me going.
